I think I would rather be cold than crowded on the bus. I felt locked in and oddly claustrophobic. I prefer to ride, no matter the weather. Time to get out on the mtb or whatever it takes to get to work on two wheels. Much better, easier on my constitution. Cold, snow? Better than the feeling I had today.

You come across a little bitter in your blog!
I hear ya Tim. Riding the trainer this week is going to suck. I wish I could get out, but the snow is a little too much for my riding comfort.
I think us mountain riders get a little bitter this time of year when the weather doesn't cooperate with our training schedules.
I hate the trainer! I'd rather ride for an hour and a half in the dark outside. It builds grit.
The trainer makes for a strong mind, which is the key to everything. Try riding the rollers in the dark - that builds grit.
Nordic world should be dialed after this storm.

Rollers are fun! In the dark, more fun! fg
Tim, I think you've got the november blues. Hits me every November and Feb for about 10 days. Lethargy and generally gloomy thoughts about life and ambitions.
I usually try to schedule a week off somewhere sunny in Feb to try to avert this SAD.
