Gluco

Two days of different cross country skiing has my shoulders and low back in a twist today. listening to Tommy Guerrero on npr yesterday reminded me to take glucosamine. Cyclists get bones like birds if they aren't careful. I will run more this winter and skiing isn't about to build up bone density. Run and take shark cartilidge is my solution. Injured riders are a liability. Being fast later means being slow now.

Tim, just make sure you lay off the glucosamine a few weeks before the season starts. I was taking it a couple years back and the legs had lost their snap. I couldn't figure it out. I was doing everything I had done in the past and the only thing that I had added was glucosamine. I stopped taking it and a week or so later, the snap was back. I've heard this from dancers as well. After that I quit taking it entirely - didn't want to risk the snap that I love.
